The Director of Secondary School Academic Operations will be responsible for leading cross-functional efforts to continuously improve strategic planning and implementation of secondary academic programming across District schools. Working directly with the secondary team and the Deputy Superintendent, the Director will facilitate efficient collaboration and decision-making across District departments to ensure a coherent and effective implementation plan to guide secondary school leaders, establish strong progress monitoring and continuous improvement systems.Minimum Qualifications:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, education, related field or equivalent work experience• Master’s Degree preferredExperience:• Three (3) years of exceptional performance in complex project management is required, ideally as the leader or manager of long-term projects or programs that span multiple priorities and a diverse set of stakeholders• Two (2) years of experience in successfully leading secondary school improvement efforts aimed at use of high-quality instructional materials to support grade-level learning is strongly preferredSpecialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
