With over 300 animals in our hands-on zoo and over 100 activities, Cub Creek Science Camp is not your average summer camp. We have staff and campers from all over the world who all share the same passion for science, nature and animals.
Cub Creek Science Camp is a residential summer camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 17. We are dedicated to providing an unforgettable and unique summer camp experience, but above all else, we strive to help our campers gain self-confidence, discover who they are, and make lasting friendships!

Requirements
Work cooperatively with program directors, and summer staff to ensure the smooth operation of camp activities and scheduling of campers and staff. Must be proficient in the use of excel, word, and email programs.
Key Responsibilities:• Create weekly staff schedule including all relevant courses and classes• Work with lead instructors, special events coordinator, and program directors, to schedule additional camp activities such as early-bird, night-owl, adn sneak outs.• Collect camper schedule preferences and assign campers to courses and classes each day. Work with Camp advocates and Cabin Counselors to ensure campers are placed into desired classes.• Ensure all staff have been scheduled for required daily breaks and days off. Work with program directors to schedule replacements for staff absences• Ensure the safety of all campers when participating in camp activities
Required Experience and Skills:• Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database programs required.• A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first• Have a passion for science, animals and childhood development• Able to effectively communicate ideas, and instructions in a constructive manner• Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision• Be willing to learn new concepts and skills• Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others• Willingness to adhere to camp's code of conduct, rules and policies

Benefits
Starting pay $4000 for 12 week summer. Additional $100 credit in camp store for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry included. Weekend work is required, this position requires availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract period. 2-hour break provided each day, and 1 scheduled day off each week. Additional leadership training and certifications are available to the right candidates, including high ropes course and lifeguard certifications.
