JOB SUMMARY
This position is required to perform a variety of roles and activities within any aspect of the Packaging department operations. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively operate equipment within the Packaging department, as directed by supervisionSubstitute or cover breaks for other employees, as neededKeep the area and equipment clean and neat at all timesPerform other duties, as required by supervisionPerform changeover activities, as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diplomaGED or relevant experience in lieu of degreeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Good communication skills - written and verbalDetail oriented and accurateAbility to multi-taskPersonable, even-tempered, easy to get along withFollows directions wellBe flexible in shift assignmentsOn The Job Training: If employee is presently a member of the packaging department, he/she must have completed the packaging department training program. When dealing with a new hire or an employee transferring from another department, he/she will be required to complete the packaging department training program followed by several hours of O.J.T. within the first 30 days of hire date or transfer date.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements.Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
