We seek an experienced Tax Professional with 5 or more years of tax experience to join our team. Our practice is diverse, and our clients include complex S corporations, partnerships, C corporations, trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals and family groups.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•-Conduct reviews of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for S-Corp., partnership, C-Corp., individual, and fiduciary clients.•-Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, managing, and completing tax projects and managing budgets.•-Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
-Assist with business development for the expansion of services to new and existing clients.•-Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects and assess performance of staff.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
-CPA and/or JD required; MT/MST and/or LLM in tax preferred
-5 or more years of public accounting experience with a focus in tax
-Ability to assess the tax impact of company business, operations and transactions
-Strong tax and technical research skills
-Ability to think strategically and analytically
-Experience managing complex engagements
-Strong presentation, interpersonal and practice management skills
-Strong written and oral communication skills
