We are looking for professionals with at least five years of experience working with a public accounting firm. Ability to supervise the work of auditors and should have managerial experience. Advanced technical auditing and accounting expertise, as well as excellent presentation skills. Candidates should also possess a proven track record of good working relationships with clients. A CPA is required at this level.
Responsibilities:Conducting audit field work in assigned areas (Government, Non-Profit, and Employee Benefit Plan experience a plus, not required)Multitasking multiple engagementsReviewing senior and staff auditors' work before submitting it to the directorDeveloping relationships with assigned clients and those in their area of expertiseMonitoring the progress of audits based on budgets and deadlinesSupervising, training, evaluating and mentoring staff auditorsPresenting audit reports and recommendations to senior management and possibly the audit committee of the board of directorsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical skills and an attention to detailFamiliarity with standard auditing practices and procedures and the ability to apply them to each project assigned. General knowledge of FASB regulations, GAAS, and GAAPFamiliarity with overall company operations and an ability to understand correlations between internal operating departmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience:
5+ years of public accounting experienceBachelor's in Accounting required, Master's in Taxation or LLM a plusEffective writing, communication, and research skills are necessaryCPA required
