JOB DESCRIPTION FOR USED CAR MANAGER
Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process.
Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network.
Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing sales.
Help manage all other aspects of the sales department.
Purchase vehicles for the inventory from auction and off-lease returns.
Complete trade appraisals desk deals, track gross logs, and RDR cars
Active knowledge on how to use tools such as Vauto, DriveCentric, RouteOne, etc.
Prior sales leadership/management 4 yrs of dealership experience required
Prior new car manager experience
Must be able to create and maintain customer relationships
Handle high volume of business with professionalism
Strong computer skills (Internet, MS Outlook, Auto-Exchange, CRM's, ADP, Netlook)
Must understand inventory control 45 day turn policy
Desk deals for sales professionals and take T.O.'s to maximize deal potential
Deal with local and national vendors
Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug screen)
