During our busiest season, estimated to be from late-January through April 15th, 2025, tax season interns assist with the increased tax work for clients.
What Your Day Looks Like:Scans tax documents into AutoFlowReviews and validates scanned documentsPrepares basic tax returnsImports data from client's files to our workpaper filesLearns to use accounting and tax softwareDevelop an understanding of internal CPA practicesDevelop an understanding of teamwork within a work environmentWhat You Need as an Intern:
Accounting majors who intend to begin their careers in public accountingGPA's of 3.0 and higherAvailability of 15-20 hours per weekInterns should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, multi-task, and possess critical thinking skills.Interns should be aspiring to obtain CPA certificationInterns should have a willingness and desire to learn more about public accounting.Attributes that demonstrate initiative, career-oriented intensity, above average Excel/IT skills, and professionalism will be significant factors in our selection of candidates
