What Your Day Looks Like:Scan tax documents into AutoFlowReview and validate scanned documentsPrepare basic tax returnsImport data from client's files to our workpaper filesLearn to use accounting and tax softwareDevelop an understanding of internal CPA practicesDevelop an understanding of teamwork within a work environmentWhat You Need to be an Intern:An accounting major who intends to begin a career in public accountingStudent in sophomore, junior or senior yearAt least one section of Intermediate accounting already successfully passedCompletion of a taxation class is helpfulGPA of 3.0 and higherAvailability of 15-20 hours per weekAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, multi-task, and possess critical thinking skillsAspiring to obtain CPA certification; driven to learn more about public accountingDemonstrate initiative, career-oriented intensity, above average Excel/IT skills, and professionalism
