Will work at WSU off campus centers:Center for Continuing Education (Clearfield), West Center (Roy), Community Education Center (Ogden [Spanish speaking]), and WSU Station Park (Farmington).

Job Summary/Basic Function
Duties: The Operations Assistant is a versatile role that encompasses a variety of responsibilities. This individual will serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, managing incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and courtesy. They will be expected to troubleshoot basic technology issues and have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks and systems. The role requires the ability to effectively instruct others and manage Zoom and other video conferencing solutions. Additionally, this role may require travel to different locations as needed for operational tasks. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position can expand and adapt based upon personal experience.
Must have valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and able to do local errands - will be reimbursed for miles.**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to safely drive a vehicle.
Great communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer past customer service experience and good troubleshooting skills.
