In the role of Mechanical Inspector, we'll count on you to:

Demonstrate familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes for buildings and facilitiesConduct inspection of electrical, mechanical/HVAC and site civilCollaborate with other field representatives or Project ManagersRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documentsConduct and document observations of construction as it progressesProvide guidance to less-experienced field staff as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications

Technical school or college degreeMechanical inspection experience highly desiredExperience with DEP projectsPrimary or Final Settling tanks experienceRelevant Industry CertificationsAbility to interpret construction schedules5 years of experienceQualifications

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalentA minimum of 3 years experienceProficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)Proven problem-solving and documentation abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThis position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testingAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
