Senior Tax Manager (Seasonal Part-Time)

We are currently seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Manager to join our team of growing professionals and help serve our clients primarily during the January to May time frame each year. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design a work schedule and routine that fits their own schedule. Whether remote or in the office, work primarily during the winter season and have the freedom and flexibility to enjoy life to its fullest. As Tax Manager, you will:
Work closely with our clients and alongside the Partners and professional staff.Monitor and manage workflows, deliverables, deadlines and work in a fast pace environment.Build and develop relationships with our clients including tax planning to ensure the maximum tax benefit is achieved in compliance with federal and state income taxes.Coach, develop and mentor staff members to assist in enhancing their skills and developing their careers ensuring business, individual and trust returns are completed accurately and timely.Review, approve and sign tax returns for release to clients.Responsible for managing client billings.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's degree is preferredCPA Certified and active license required10+ years' minimum experience in public accounting and 4+ years managing experience.Experience preparing and reviewing complex federal corporate (C and S), multi-state, partnership, individual, and estate and trust returns.Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving and attention to detail.Strong understanding of IRS practice and procedures.Ability to develop and apply policies and procedures for an effective tax practice.Excellent communication skills with sound judgement dealing with staff and clients effectively both verbally and written.Technology - Intermediate to Proficient with Microsoft 365 and CS Professional Suite including Ultratax, Planner CS, File Cabinet, Practice CS, CheckPoint, and Fixed Assets. Also, experience with Caseware, SurePep, and Quickbooks.Full Compensation Overview:
