Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting.CPA.At least 5-7 years of experience in a CPA firm with 2 years of supervisory experience.Experience using UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products.Ability to work independently and within a team environmentOutstanding communication skills both written and verbalDetail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectivelyAbility to communicate with business owners and personnelA team player that possesses a positive, "can do" attitude with a "firm first" mindsetResponsibility for planning, supervising, and completing engagementsAbility to plan the timing and assigning of staff to engagementsExperience in reviewing engagement work papers, resolving any problems, and keeping the partner informed of all important developments in the engagementExperience in supervising staff accountants, providing feedback to them, and evaluating their progressAbility to become an expert in assigned areasAbility to recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients and efficiencies within the workplaceJob Description
Work in all phases of tax planning, tax preparation, review, compliance, and researchUse tax software with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooksDemonstrate knowledge of prevailing tax laws and developmentsApply knowledge of current issues in tax, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific concerns to clientsIdentify where current issues may impact a client and recommend strategiesPrepare various tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and MultistateManage work effectively with others while managing client relationshipsMaintain superior attention to detailBenefits:
