Salary: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsConduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategiesAssist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authoritiesPerform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statementsCollaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentsStay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulationsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior tax associatesRequirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA Certification preferredExperience level:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related fieldStrong knowledge of financial concepts and securities lawProficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooksExperience with financial planning and analysisFamiliarity with payroll and sales tax regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracySchedule:
Monday to FridayWeekends as neededExtended hours during tax seasonAbility to commute/relocate:
