Admissions Counselor
to join the Farnum team! The individual in this key position will provide coordination and support to prospective clients and referral sources with the goal of maintaining a full census. The role of the Admissions Counselor is also to complete the intake process and follow the client throughout their treatment stay with the aim to ensure a positive experience and ensure their needs are being met.Responsibilities:Represent the substance abuse programs to prospective clients, families, community members, funding sources, etc.Develop and maintain positive relationships.Plan and implement recruitment activities and marketing programs.Represent the agency in the community.Initiate new and repeated phone and in-person contacts with potential referral sources.Answer and respond to all in-bound calls from individuals and organizations seeking information on program services.Qualifications:
This position requires an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and at least two (2) years of experience in addiction services. A driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance are also required.Schedule:
40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 11:30am - 8:00pm.Compensation:
