Robust benefits package, generous PTO, matching retirementPosition Description:The Grant Monitor is responsible for ensuring that grant-funded programs are in compliance with proposal/contract objectives; grant/contract implementations are completed responsibly and ethically, following the policies and regulations of grantors and the Agency; reporting data-related tasks (data collection, quality control, and data entry), and assisting with program development and computer usage.Primary Responsibilities:Monitor funder and agency policies and requirements with accuracy and attention to detail.Maintain up-to-date documentation and records appropriate for reporting all aspects of grant monitoring.Complete data entry tasks accurately and in a timely fashion.Attend and/or conduct monthly meetings with grant program staff to provide feedback about grants and contracts. Document meeting proceedings as required.Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual data uploads as required by the funder and/or the Agency.Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reports.Assist in preparing and coordinating site/monitoring visits.Write handbooks/manuals required by the grant/contractor.Assist with renewal proposals for grants and contracts currently assigned.Alert the project manager and/or evaluator to grant monitoring problems.Design and maintain databases using relevant software (e.g., SPSS, Teleform, Excel, or Access)Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree ORBe actively enrolled in a college/university at the senior level.Preferred Qualifications:Six (6) months experience working in a social service capacity/setting highly desirable.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to provide effective communication regarding grant status.Demonstrate high attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.Work Conditions:Environment: Hybrid: Office, RemoteRange of Schedule:
