A law firm is seeking a Health Care Associate Attorney for its Princeton, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the health care delivery system and substantial experience in health care regulatory matters and transactions. This role requires superior research and writing abilities and the capacity to manage complex health care transactions and provide strategic advice to a diverse range of clients.Duties:Address and interpret health care regulatory matters, including federal and state fraud and abuse statutes, HIPAA, facility licensing, corporate practice of medicine issues, and state regulatory requirements.Advise a diverse client base including physician groups, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and other health care providers on a range of regulatory and compliance issues.Manage and oversee health care transactions, including drafting and negotiating corporate documents, operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, management agreements, and employment agreements.Conduct detailed legal research and prepare comprehensive written analyses and memoranda on health care regulatory matters.Provide strategic advice on compliance with health care laws and regulations and develop practical solutions to address regulatory challenges.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful execution of transactions and compliance with relevant regulations.Stay updated on developments in health care law and industry trends to provide informed counsel to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.Active Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice (New Jersey).4-6 years of experience in health care transactions and regulatory matters.Extensive knowledge of health care delivery systems and applicable regulations.Skills:Superior research and writing skills.Strong understanding of federal and state health care regulations, including fraud and abuse statutes, HIPAA, and facility licensing.Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex health care-related agreements and documents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively advise and collaborate with a range of health care clients.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
