Summary:The Child Mind Institute is recruiting a Digital Learning Innovation Manager within our School and Community Programs team. Breaking down barriers to care, the Professional Training team engages in collaborative relationships with school partners to build on strengths and increase capacity for sustainable access to mental wellness for students. These training programs bring a suite of evidence-based services to prevent and treat student mental health disorders in school and community settings, including a K-12 mental health skill-building curriculum and evidence-based treatment to children and teens struggling with posttraumatic stress, behavior, attention, mood, or learning disorders.The Digital Learning Innovation Manager is a key role within the School and Community Programs department at the Child Mind Institute. This position is central to integrating digital learning technologies with mental health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives. The Manager will collaborate with Senior Directors to develop and enhance digital learning platforms, transforming educational content into engaging and impactful formats for both asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences. This role focuses on working closely with Senior Directors to advance training programs and improve program outcomes through effective technology integration. Additionally, the Manager will engage with school districts and community organizations to facilitate the adoption and implementation of mental health skill-building curriculum.Reporting to the Senior Director of School and Community Programs, this is an exempt, full-time position hybrid based at our Bay area headquarters.We're dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders by giving them the help they need. We've become the leading independent nonprofit in children's mental health by providing gold-standard evidence-based care, delivering educational resources to millions of families each year, training educators in underserved communities, and developing tomorrow's breakthrough treatments.Responsibilities:Manage the maintenance and enhancement of the backend programming of the Learning Management System (LMS) and WordPress platform, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of the learning management software. Ensure the system is robust, scalable, and reliable to support efficient virtual training for educators.Transform existing Google Slides content into engaging digital formats such as interactive e-books, videos, and animations. Ensure the content is accessible, interactive, and enhances the learning experience.Develop and implement both asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities for educators and students.Ensure the platform allows easy browsing and access to lessons and integrate micro-learning videos and professional development resources to support teachers in delivering mental health skill-building curriculum effectively.Create engaging and interactive activities for students aligned with SEL competencies, ensuring the development of systems that allow students to track their progress and growth in an engaging and motivating manner.Track login frequency, active participation, content access, and completion rates to gauge engagement with SEL and mental health content, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.Develop and implement strategies to increase user engagement and participation in digital hubs.Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.Collaborate with other departments within the Child Mind Institute to meet program needs, including development, marketing & communications, and IT (Information Technology).Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:BA or BS required, master's degree in a related field is a plus.At least 5 years of experience working in a school, community or nonprofit setting.Proven experience in LMS development and management, including backend programming and system integration.Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and youth mental health, with experience in developing SEL-aligned activities and mental health content.Strong technology expertise.Strong interpersonal, communication, attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution.Ability to maintain a high degree of initiative, dependability, and the ability to be productive in an autonomous environment.A passion for the Child Mind Institute mission and working with schools, students, parents, and educators.Special Considerations:The salary range for the position is posted.
