Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high level of academic achievement, substantial experience in real estate finance law within a large law firm, and outstanding writing and communication skills. This role requires expertise in managing complex commercial real estate transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity, and proficiency in handling transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee real estate finance transactions from start to finish, including inception, closing, and post-closing stages.Handle loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Provide legal support in asset management and workout situations as needed.Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive legal documents related to real estate finance transactions.Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction execution.Conduct detailed legal research and provide strategic advice on real estate finance issues.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and firm policies throughout the transaction process.Support secondary market repurchase facility work and develop other exit strategies as necessary.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Minimum of 3 years of broad real estate finance experience, ideally in a large law firm.Proven experience in managing complex commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Experience in asset management and workout scenarios is preferred.Demonstrated ability to handle transactions on behalf of lenders, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Education and CertificationsJD from an accredited law school required.Admission to the State Bar of Texas.SkillsHigh level of academic achievement.Exceptional writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in managing complex real estate finance transactions.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.Benefits OfferedMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceVision Insurance (voluntary)401(k) PlanPaid Time OffCompany infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
