A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a skilled Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished academic background, substantial experience in real estate finance law from a large law firm, and excellent writing and communication skills. This role involves managing complex commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity, and handling transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.Handle loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Provide legal support in asset management and workout situations.Draft, review, and negotiate detailed legal documents related to real estate finance transactions.Work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic advice on real estate finance matters.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and firm policies throughout the transaction process.Support secondary market repurchase facility work and develop other exit strategies as necessary.RequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Minimum of 3 years of broad real estate finance experience, ideally within a large law firm.Proven experience in managing large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Experience in asset management and workout scenarios is preferred.Demonstrated ability to handle transactions on behalf of lenders, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Education and CertificationsJD from an accredited law school required.Admission to the State Bar of Colorado.SkillsHigh level of academic achievement.Exceptional writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in managing complex real estate finance transactions.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.Benefits OfferedMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceVision Insurance (voluntary)401(k) PlanPaid Time Off
