Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a talented Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with a strong background in real estate finance law. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large law firm settings, demonstrating exceptional academic achievements, robust experience in loan origination for complex commercial real estate transactions, and excellent writing and communication skills.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee real estate finance transactions from initiation through closing and post-closing phases.Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Handle asset management and workout scenarios as needed.Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to real estate finance transactions.Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of transactions.Conduct detailed legal research and provide strategic advice on real estate finance matters.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies throughout the transaction process.Support secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.RequirementsJD from an accredited law school.At least 3 years of broad real estate finance experience, preferably in a large law firm setting.Demonstrated experience in managing large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Experience in asset management and workout scenarios is preferred.Proven ability to handle transactions on behalf of lenders, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Education and CertificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree required.Admission to the State Bar of Illinois.SkillsHigh level of academic achievement.Exceptional writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in managing complex real estate finance transactions.Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.Benefits OfferedMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceVision Insurance (voluntary)401(k) PlanPaid Time OffCompany infoBCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicagoIllinoisUnited States 60606Phone :
