This pivotal role involves the preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, with a focus on transparency and accuracy in financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the financial reporting function and systems, ensuring compliance with technical accounting standards, and leading the process of telling the company's financial story to investors. This includes close collaboration with the Chief Accounting Officer, Global Controller, and external auditors, as well as proactive engagement with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, People, Accounting, Investor Relations, and FP&A. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience, including a substantial background in SEC reporting. Experience with financial reporting, GL, and equity platforms is essential, and a background in a global, high-growth, public company is highly valued. The role requires a detail-oriented, process-oriented individual with excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. The Head of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will also be involved in the preparation of various financial documents, including S-1, Earnings Releases, and Investor Presentations, and will oversee the administration of the company's equity plans.
