Our client is a non-profit organization in the finance industry seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and management in a non-profit setting. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping and guiding the financial future of our organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership: As the CFO, you will be responsible for the organization's overall financial strategy, ensuring the development and execution of effective financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

2. Strategic Planning: You will work closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors to develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.

3. Management: You will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a dedicated team of finance professionals.

4. Business Strategy: You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis to guide business strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

5. Board and Committee Meetings: You will be required to attend and participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and its various committees as requested, providing financial insights and updates.

6. Audit and Tax Filings: You will coordinate the annual audit and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a non-profit organization.

2. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

3. Extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, strategic planning, management, and accounting.

4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.

5. Exceptional strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive business strategy and growth.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.

7. A deep understanding of non-profit financial regulations and standards, including experience coordinating audits and tax filings.

8. A passion for our mission and a commitment to the non-profit sector.
