We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Account Manager with expertise in QuickBooks and hands-on experience in both cash and accrual accounting. The successful candidate will be key in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance:

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks software.

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Accounting Methodology:

Demonstrate proficiency in both cash and accrual accounting methods.

Ensure accurate application of accounting principles to financial transactions.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Generate and distribute timely and accurate financial reports to relevant stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets.

Assist in preparing financial forecasts based on past performance and market trends.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies.

Audit Preparation:

Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Work closely with auditors to facilitate the audit process.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Payroll Processing:

Oversee payroll processing, including tax withholding, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.

QuickBooks Expertise:

Utilize advanced features of QuickBooks to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Provide training and support to team members on QuickBooks usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant with specific expertise in QuickBooks.

Proficient in using QuickBooks and Financial Management

Strong knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting methods.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
