This position involves advising clients on their legal rights, preparing legal documents, representing clients in court, and developing case strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex criminal cases at various levels, be a team player, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.Duties and Responsibilities

Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in criminal matters.Draw up legal documents pertinent to clients' cases.Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide strategic advice following each hearing.Manage court appearances and trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and performing legal research.Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.Manage a workload of multiple cases effectively.Provide clients with detailed legal analysis to identify their cases' potential benefits.Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or counter prosecution charges.Prepare clients for depositions and determine key goals for case strategies.Gather information from witnesses and experts to support clients' positions.Collaborate with fellow associates on case strategies and other legal matters.Maintain high-caliber interpersonal skills to interact with clients, witnesses, and colleagues effectively.Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.Experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.Strong analytical skills and the ability to research and apply legal precedents.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.Education and Certifications
