The successful candidate will have a strong background in defending employers in employment-related litigation, including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation cases, and ERISA litigation. This role requires a blend of excellent legal expertise, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cases effectively. The position will involve occasional in-office presence for meetings, depositions, and court appearances.Duties:Defend employers in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.Represent clients in ERISA litigation.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and legal arguments.Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting labor and employment practices.Requirements:4-7 years of experience in employment litigation matters.Proven track record of defending employers in employment actions before agencies and courts.Excellent academic background with a strong understanding of labor and employment law.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Demonstrated success in managing complex cases and meeting deadlines.Licensed to practice law in the U.S.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the bar in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain admission).Skills:Expertise in employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and ERISA litigation.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage a diverse caseload.
