Client Operations Manager Lead Company HSB Location Wayne , United States

Client-facing expert that delivers business outcomes and operational excellence for the division's most strategic and high-potential client partners, while also working cross-functionally to drive forward key internal initiatives. Identifies, develops and proposes solutions to complex or non-standard opportunities that enable achievement of financial goals in a dynamic, layered business environment. A leader within the team, positioned to establish standards, guide and mentor team members, and represent Specialty Client Operations amongst various internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
  • 7+ years of experience in the P&C industry is required
  • 5+ years of Client facing experience required
  • 3+ years of experience managing strategic and/or operational excellence initiatives required
  • Process Excellence or Change Management designations preferred
  • CPCU, MBA is preferred


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Indirect leadership and influence with demonstrated ability to earn trust and respect among peers
  • Solution-oriented with strong willingness and ambition to drive process change; ability to challenge authority and speak up
  • Big picture thinking paired with attention to detail & delivery of outcomes
  • Skilled in simplifying the complex
  • Highly collaborative, with relationship building at all levels of the organization
  • Strong knowledge of HSB products and ability to communicate and share that knowledge with external clients
  • Understanding of the Specialty Markets/E&S distribution landscape, including complex distribution and risk transfer approaches
