Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in networking solution, especially in switch products. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our enterprise customers and promoting internal switch products to optimize customer networking solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in networking switch products as well as exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of management in a professional manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):Responsible for pre and post sales on-site technical support, providing optimized networking solutions for customers using the company's switch products.Conduct market and technical research; provide technical recommendations, implementations, and support for optimized and complete networking solutions, and as required, support for associated server and storage solutions.Lead other product hardware and software engineers in investigation and resolution of problems in development, utilizing knowledge and skills in networking architectures, protocols, topologies, interoperability, hardware and software interaction, perform network system design, integration, and conduct diagnostics routines for troubleshooting.Handle day-to-day customer technical support of networking-related issues including switches, add-on-cards, and other networking products.Improve networking product quality by proactively resolving field issues, overseeing and presenting technical training on the company's networking products to customers and the sales and marketing team.Act as liaison between the product development team and the customers to evaluate technical requirements of the network products to meet customer specifications, working closely with Research and Development on new networking product designs and customer problem solutions.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in EE, CE, or CS; MS is strongly preferred.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in application/customer engineering.1+ years of working experience in networking switches and routers is preferred.Strong organizational and well-developed social skills.Excellent telephone etiquette skills and on-site support skills.Excellent knowledge of Networking products and services.Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms.Salary Range:

$66,560 - $117,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.EEO Statement:
