Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in computer/server architecture. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our enterprise, data centers, and HPC customers, and working with the Product Manager to provide the best customer service. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in computer/server products as well as exceptional communication skills -- the ability to interface with all levels of management staff in a professional manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with customers to resolve technical issues including motherboard and server systems via phone or email.Collaborate with various internal teams, including R&D HW, SW, and production to resolve technical issues.Identify technical issues and resolve computer hardware and software problems.Continuously develop knowledge of Supermicro's current and new products.Proactively resolve customers' technical issues.Act as the product expert, engaging with both the product support team and development team to provide correct product solutions to customers.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.2 years of working/technical support experience in computer systems and/or servers is a plus.Strong organizational and well-developed social skills.Highly analytical, creative, detail-oriented, organized, and a good team player.Excellent telephone etiquette skills and on-site support skills.Excellent knowledge of Server/Workstation GPU products.Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms.Salary Range:

$66,560 - $117,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.EEO Statement:
