If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.JOB SUMMARY:The remote role of the Director of Revenue Management is to provide direction to property teams to identify, develop, and implement all potential revenue opportunities for a full-service premium branded hotel. This position encompasses 25% in the office or one day a week if local or one week per month if the candidate is out of state. This role will provide integral support daily to the team for both long-term and short-term goals, system reporting, tools, and accurate forecasting to maximize the total revenue and profitability for the hotel they support. This role will also be expected to participate and be a key member of the Executive Committee for the hotel as applicable.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field. Demonstrated success in revenue management roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing pricing strategies. Marriott property experience or oversight of Marriott brands preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, with strong abilities in formulating and reporting complex data. Must be adept at analyzing financial information and using data-driven insights to make strategic decisions.Comprehensive knowledge of general hotel operations and yield management principles. Experience with branded or similar Property Management Systems (PMS), internet and travel websites, and industry-specific reports (e.g., TravelClick and STR) is desired.Ability to work with and interpret financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions. Must have a strong understanding of revenue management principles and their impact on hotel profitability.Strong understanding of Marriott systems such as CI/TY, MARSHA, FS/PMS, One Yield, and data analysis through Travelclick & Lighthouse systems preferred.A dynamic, driven leader who can motivate and inspire a team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Use critical thinking skills to analyze changes in demand, production, and channel/source contributions.Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.A forward-thinking individual with the ability to innovate and drive new revenue management strategies.Approach all interactions with owners, guests, and associates in a friendly, objective, and service-oriented manner.Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations at all times.East or West Coast locational experience preferred.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with the General Manager (GM) and Director of Sales (DOS) to set and manage yield controls, maximizing revenue across all distribution channels.Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies for negotiating and booking group and catering business.Manage brand and third-party channels, including working with OTA market managers on promotions.Utilize Sales & Revenue Management systems for daily operations, forecasting, and reporting.Conduct test calls to verify rate quoting accuracy and selling strategies.Prepare and analyze market segmentation, production, source contribution, daily pick-up, and pace summary reports.Develop, monitor, and adjust group pricing strategies and need periods.Participate in monthly financial reviews focused on sales revenue and P&L.Manage group cut-off dates and monitor hotel status throughout the day.Develop and coach a team of Revenue professionals as applicable.BENEFITS:After an initial waiting period, those hired into full-time positions are eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:Now offering Daily Pay!
