The ideal candidate will be adept at providing strategic legal advice, managing complex cases, and representing clients in court. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently and demonstrating excellent communication and research skills.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies for the successful resolution of real estate litigation cases.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on various real estate matters.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other case-related materials.Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex legal issues pertinent to real estate litigation.Manage all aspects of discovery and depositions, including preparing and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions.Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.Negotiate settlements and advise clients on the terms and implications of settlement agreements.Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to real estate disputes and litigation.Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar and in good standing in Colorado.Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on real estate matters preferred.Demonstrated trial experience and ability to handle complex litigation cases.Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting depositions.Skills:Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Effective negotiation and settlement skills.Ability to interpret and apply laws, rulings, and regulations.Professional demeanor and ability to represent clients with integrity.
