Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a Lead IT Endpoint Engineer for a large manufacturing client in Cleveland, OH. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a generous base salary, a lucrative bonus incentive, a full benefits package, and substantial opportunities for growth.
The Lead IT Endpoint Engineer is a member of the IT End User Experience (EUX) team and plays a pivotal role in the management and configuration of enterprise level systems including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and other management systems and tools. A hands-on position requiring deep technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to addressing challenges, the Lead IT Endpoint Engineer also assures their team remains focused on enabling IT site support personnel, automation of repetitive tasks, and moving forward as technology evolves. They are instrumental in determining the direction of the management of end-user hardware/software and the systems and tools used to support our end users and their devices.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Lead a highly technical team tasked with the configuration and management of Intune, Endpoint Configuration Manager, and other Endpoint management tools.Lead in the support of end-user devices such as tablets, PCs, smartphones, and printers.Lead the design and development of programs, scripts, reports, interfaces, distribution packages, images, provisioning templates, policies, procedures, and system configuration.Develop and maintain relationships with critical Endpoint management vendors.Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Ensure proper participation in IT projects where endpoint management expertise is required.Drive the adoption and optimization of a variety of PC solutions, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.Establish and manage processes for the development of technical standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EUX solutions into broader IT initiatives.Monitor and manage team success in performance of their dutiesDevelop and implement strategies for deploying organization-wide changes/upgrades.Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and solutions, keeping IT support personnel and the end user in mind.Minimum Qualifications:
Combined minimum 10 years higher education and/or work experience4 years engineering and/or architecture in endpoint management design4 years leadership experience including people managementExtensive experience managing Intune and Endpoint Configuration Manager including co-management, Autopilot, and mobile device management policies and configurations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate technical teams.Considered a leader in Endpoint Management technologiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:
Digital Employee Experience (DEX) implementation and management experienceExperience developing and executing strategies for cloud-based virtual PC solutionsPowerShell fluency
