Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Unit Manager to lead the establishment and growth of a new business unit focused on e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, account management, project management, sales, and consulting within the e-commerce industry. This individual should be entrepreneurial-minded and driven to build and scale a successful business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and revenue within the e-commerce solutions sector
- Manage and nurture client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for key accounts
- Lead project management efforts to ensure successful implementation of e-commerce solutions
- Drive sales initiatives and collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets
- Provide consulting services to clients on e-commerce best practices and strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce, account management, project management, sales, and consulting within the e-commerce industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and growing business units
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and e-commerce tools such as Shopify Plus, Commerce Tools, or Shopware
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems like Canto, PIMCORE or Bynder
- Knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) systems such as Akeneo, Salsify, Sales Layer, or Pimcore
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting
- East Coast location preferred
