What You Will Do:

The Customer Data Activation Lead is responsible for developing B2B2C programs that drive customer acquisition, retention, personalization, loyalty, and profitable, long-term relationships – from ideation, planning and development to execution, tracking, and analytics. As the central data steward for the brand, the CDAL owns the critical function of 1P data collection and activation across all B2B and B2C-facing channels, including (but not limited to) email, SMS, direct mail, media, and paid social. This role is also responsible for tracking and measurement of brand owned data to provide data-driven consumer insights across the customer’s lifecycle and multi-channel touchpoints.

CDAL will closely collaborate with a broad team of cross-functional partners and stakeholders, including marketing, media, retailer, site, CDMO, social, DIT, and global teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including, but not limited to executive management, marketing, digital and media teams, retailers, & medical partners to evolve DDX roadmap and drive data-driven programs and initiatives

Oversee management of agency partners/external vendors (DDX, SMS, creative, sampling, etc.)

Maximize all opportunities to cross-reference and merge learnings from multiple data sources, (i.e., CRM database and Retailer databases) to create multi-channel strategies

Support strategic brand objectives, launches, and activities as well as annual plans to drive business results. Partner with Marketing to support major new product category initiatives.

Data Acquisition:

Set ambitious email and SMS database name collection goals, implements strategies to meet or exceed goals, liaise with the Legal team to ensure tactics are compliant with L’Oreal legal guidelines

Own budget for name collection campaigns, including sample forecasting

Partner with media team to establish investment levels, targeting and creative for lead gen campaigns across platforms

Data Activation:

Collaborate with CDMO team (L’Oreal DMP owners) to drive audience segmentation strategy, test, and learn opportunities and analysis. Fully leverage first-party customer data to precisely segment target audiences and refine multiple-channel communications.

Partner with media teams to ensure adoption of 1P data in relevant campaigns; drives recommendation for audience targeting strategy and measurement

Owns brand trigger program; ensures synchronized messaging across channels based on 1P data acquisition source and customer behaviors.

Accountable for day-to-day deployment of email and SMS campaigns. Ensure DDX cadence aligns with broader Marketing and brand calendars

Implement personalization opportunities to enhance the consumer journey across touchpoints

Analytics

Track KPIs and provides monthly recap with insights to inform and shape future execution

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

· 6+ years of relevant experience in B2B2C CRM, digital project management, performance marketing

· Must have proven track record in driving CRM strategies, database growth, digital engagement, ecommerce sales, and analytics across channels

· Superb teamwork skills. Ability to partner closely with a large cross-functional group of stakeholders representing various areas of business

· Exceptional end-to-end project management skills. Highly organized

· Strong analytical skills and in-depth database segmentation experience

· Ability to digest data and translate it into clear, meaningful, and actionable insights

· Affinity for marketing technology, systems

· Ambitious, resilient, agile, self-starter

· Must possess excellent creative - verbal and written - communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Managing brand loyalty programs is a plus

· Technical familiarity and experience with back-end technologies and content management systems

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range : $107-140k base (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
