Commercial Real Estate Lender
is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial real estate clients for Beverly Bank and Trust within the Wintrust footprint. This position provides exceptional service to build and strengthen customer relationships by promoting products and services as appropriate to identify and fulfill customer needs. Responsible for new business development through referral sources and cold calling efforts.What You’ll DoIncrease the Bank’s profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationshipsNurture existing client relationships by assessing and meeting client’s business and personal needsNegotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell productsMaintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loansSustain comprehensive understanding of current commercial products offered in the market and keep informed of all relevant industry trends and practicesBuild and maintain a professional network of COI’s and referral sources to facilitate new business development opportunitiesMaintain a stable network of prospective customers with consistent approach to callingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or accountingSolid understanding of general credit and risk principles, and banking policies/procedures; formal credit training is preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate lendingExceptional written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skillsExcellent analytical and organization skills with the ability to prioritize workflowProficient with Microsoft OfficeDemonstrate high ethical standards and personal integrity
