This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.What will you be responsible for?As an integral member of Epson’s industrial robotics product management team, you will be responsible for launching new automation products to market, building creative marketing programs and messaging to accelerate market awareness and sales opportunities with our end users and channel partners, and collaboratively engaging internal and external stakeholders (including Epson’s parent company Seiko Epson Corporation) to drive forward new initiatives, develop new products and advance our business objectives.What will you be doing?Product ManagementContribute to achieving revenue and gross profit targets for assigned areas.Establish structured processes for a complete product launch for assigned product(s).Work closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Applications Engineering, Product Development, Logistics, SEC, and other groups to manage the product throughout its lifecycle.Make recommendations regarding positioning and pricing of assigned product(s).Provide recommendations and implementation support for key programs, advertising and promotions strategies and tactics for assigned product(s).Manage end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met.Serve as internal and external PR spokesperson and product champion for assigned product(s).Support the company at events, including sales meetings, trade shows, and virtual events.Support the sales team in customer visits, presentations, and various support material and program creation.Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking and make recommendations.Initiate and maintain relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications.Business ManagementOperate within budgetary constraints by participating in the development of annual and quarterly budget forecasts.Participate in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans.Develop and maintain written departmental standards and procedures.Product DevelopmentConduct and analyze market information and make recommendations.Provide input into the development of product road maps for assigned product(s).Coordinate and manage relationship with SEC (Seiko Epson Corporation Japan) to monitor product development process and make recommendations for meeting market needs.Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.Manage and leverage relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).Maintain professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.Minimum Requirements:Product Management experience at an intermediate level (5-8 years).Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).Epson America, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, and protected veteran status, as well as any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.#LI-HybridNearest Major Market:
