The Inclusive Business Leader and Nebraska Business at Standing Bear (NBSB) Coordinator serves as an engaged resource for our diverse student populations. This position will support recruitment strategies in coordination with the Inclusive Business Leaders program and will coordinate the Business focus program at Standing Bear High School.The University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks to attract and retain a high performing and diverse workforce in which employees’ differences are respected and valued to better meet the varying needs of the diverse populations we serve. Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in recruitment, marketing, sales, retention, diversity programs, or customer service. Teaching experience or teaching certificate at the high school or college level. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills. Public speaking/presentation skills necessary. Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills required. Proficiency with computer software to include word processing, database, and spreadsheet essentials. Continued education with courses at the graduate level in business analytics or other business-related field. Creative thinking skills to speak to individuals/groups with or without preparation necessary. Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and other college and UNL campus administrators. Must have the ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds and academic abilities. Ability to work in the evening and on weekends.

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field. Two (2) or more years of experience in recruitment, marketing, sales, retention, or customer services preferred. Campus involvement as an undergraduate helpful. Experience with admissions, diversity programs, or recruitment preferred. Familiarity with High School and College Relations operations and procedures desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of Nebraska and its challenges amongst under-represented populations helpful.How to Apply
