It is responsible for driving the pricing infrastructure transformation within Pricing across AZ Commercial globally.You will join an international department located across London, Munich, Bucharest, Singapore, Chicago, and New York.The Impact You Will HaveReporting to the Integrated Commercial Pricing Lead you will join our new Integrated Commercial Pricing team for two years to implement a harmonized single pricing service for MidCorp and LargeCorp to enable scalability of centrally administered business logic. This implementation is building on current Allianz Group solutions (RADAR and Python) and is based on functionality already available and owned by Allianz (GCPA).Some of your specific responsibilities could include:Function as intermediary between MidCorp and LargeCorp teams with respect to modularisation of pricing algorithm for selected lines of businessCollaborate with other stakeholders in Global Pricing and UnderwritingSupport the implementation of a modular pricing service across a variety of business lines at AZ Commercial (hands-on)Execute impact studies on MidCorp and LargeCorp data to quantify impact, and subsequently communicate resultsContribute to the development of the Pricing processesDevelop an expert knowledge of the company’s data and data systemsPeer review work from other team membersWhat You’ll Bring to the RoleAdvanced degree in a quantitative field desirable, preferably with significant emphasis on statistical modelling or machine learning, e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related fieldQualified P&C Actuary preferableComprehensive and strong experience in building and implementing pricing models in the insurance industry for P&C commercial linesPrevious Large Corporate pricing experience preferableStrong knowledge of P&C insurance and pricing techniques requiredExperience in building and validating models using statistical software (Python, R, Emblem, SAS, etc.)Conceptual understanding of APIs and their use in cloud applicationsHands-on understanding of a wide range of classical and modern statistical and machine learning methods such as GLMs, decision trees, ensemble and regularization techniques, etc. Experience with Bayesian approaches is desirableAbility to work efficiently and effectively with large data sets from a variety of sources, including both internal and external dataOrganized, self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative, and very resourcefulPassionate about continuously learning new technical skillsAbility to build strong working relationships within the business area39420 | Actuarial | Professional | Allianz Commercial | Full-Time | TemporaryWhat’s in it for you?Let’s care about everything that makes you, youWe are committed to nurturing an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong.
