The Strategist leverages industry knowledge to provide key insights and strategic recommendations for positioning a client's business/products. They will collaborate with the client and internal stakeholders to develop positioning and messaging strategies and are responsible for providing input throughout the creative development process to ensure all client deliverables are “on strategy”. The Strategist helps define key performance indicators and measurement for programs Ogilvy delivers to ensure that strategies and tactics deliver against client goals and objectives and provide expected returns.What You’ll Do
Lead the strategy & brand vision internally and externallyDevelop clear and inspiring creative briefs and an extensive point of view for new business and current clientsWork in brief development, new business pitches and department initiativesPartner with Creatives to concept, explore and push the workDesign and conduct qualitative and quantitative research via focus groups, brainstorming sessions and one-on-one interviewsCan design for effectiveness and implement measurement strategiesCollaborate across disciplines and hierarchiesWhat You’ll Need
4+ years’ strategy experience in a creative advertising agency preferredAbility to manage scenarios where on the spot, critical thinking is necessaryExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProactive mindset; cares about the details and follows throughWell informed on cultural and social trends relevant to clientsIs current on industry, customer and competitor information and integrates those insights into strategic recommendationsHow We’ll Support You
