We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityWe have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Western Australian Sales Team, based in Malaga, WA.Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be assigned a geographical area and will be responsible for hunting and securing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises. You will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement and the thrill of the chase. This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the waste management industry and develop your experience further.Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.Ensure long-term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.Provide excellent customer service and build and maintain strong customer relationships.Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets.Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.About YouA passion for business development and sales experience generating new business.Proven experience in a structured sales or business development environment.Previous experience in using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as Salesforce, preferred.Excellent time management via your calendar to ensure you have adequate time infield and manage administration tasks.This is an autonomous role, so you must be a self-starter.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A tenacious, resilient attitude and results-focused approach.Work well under pressure, hunts opportunities and drives new business.Our ProcessOur recruitment process involves a number of checks including, but not limited to, criminal history, medicals, drug & alcohol testing, as well as verification of qualifications, licences and right-to-work status.We are dedicated to improving employment outcomes and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
