Typical travel is expected to be 1-2 times per month for 2-4 days per trip.

After decades of leading the way in the restaurant, hospitality, and healthcare spaces, Buyers Edge Platform has expanded its multitude of product offerings to the retail segment by launching SaveMore. Be one of the first to help get this new brand off the ground and running. Build and develop relationships with key retail stakeholders:

CustomersWholesalers/DistributorsManufacturesChannel Partners (technology companies, fuel companies, etc.)

Seek out new partnerships in the space for lead generationPresent at various events:

Trade showsFood ShowsWholesaler/Distributor meetings

Identify and seek prospective retail operators, handle lead generation and conversion to closeWork hand in hand with sales teams at all levels

About you:5+ years in a sales role, experience selling to foodservice retailers preferredExperience in and an understanding of the foodservice industry within retailBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceStrong presentation and negotiation skillsExperience negotiating terms and preparing sales agreements.Proficiency in:

SalesforceMicrosoft Office Products - i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as neededA valid, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a car is requiredAn entrepreneurial spirit who values a team environmentBe willing to think outside the box and come up with solutionsEfficient, detail oriented, and well organizedHave strong communication and relationship-management skills
