Job Description - Project Manager III (226 Days) (RTP20240723-003)DescriptionThe Project Manager will manage and organize systems, develop partnerships, and support training and event opportunities contributing to counseling services, campuses, social and emotional learning, bullying prevention, and post-secondary preparedness.Develop comprehensive project and program planning and timelines and monitor progress of department deliverables.Establish goals and key performance indicators to track progress and measure impact of short and long-term strategic goals/plans.Cultivate internal and external partnerships that provide counseling training and support.Provide technical assistance around the development and implementation of technology-based and web-based communication tools.Research best practices and developing trends in counseling programs and measurements and disseminate information to appropriate personnel.Provide on-going support to counseling coordinators and campus counselors.Work with research and evaluation department in gathering and analyzing data for on-going evaluation and reporting.Present progress reports, spreadsheets, presentations, data, executive summaries, and other documents as requested.Assist in preparing strategic plan between departments and outside agencies.Manage project resources and ensure availability and allocation for all projects.Proactively assess and analyze any risks and issues that may compromise project team performance and develop plans to remove or mitigate them.Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.Maintain the Counseling Services Handbook and create and manage the annual department calendar.Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.QualificationsMaster's Degree required, preferably in Counseling, Educational Administration, Communications, Grant Writing, Project Management, or related field.Minimum five years school counseling experience.Demonstrates basic knowledge in the four core components of the School Comprehensive Counseling Program.Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Demonstrates strong written and oral language skills.Demonstrates ability to work and communicate with diverse audiences.Demonstrates excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Oracle.
