Marketing Project ManagerWe are looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join the Process Excellence team within our Marketing division. The Process Excellence team supports Marketing by providing project management expertise, process improvements, and change management and works alongside major marketing deliverables to ensure successful delivery.In this role, the Marketing Project Manager will support the business in the planning, management, and execution of marketing campaign projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that teams work smoothly together, events and campaigns are planned with appropriate resourcing, and that there is smooth communication across the organization.The Marketing Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving speed to market by overseeing promotional campaigns, events, product launches, and other marketing activities. This individual will need to demonstrate a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and project management expertise to drive effective marketing initiatives. In conjunction with the team, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for deploying improvements that remove redundancies and inefficiencies, break down siloes and provide resource-leveling. This individual will help develop the roadmap, milestones, and deliverables for campaigns and events and will coordinate activities through the various phases of strategy, execution, delivery, and post-delivery. This role will require excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships across cross-functional teams. The Marketing Project Manager will also work with stakeholders to reimagine and solve complex problems and guide sponsored improvements to strategies, processes, workflow efficiencies, and organizational systems. In addition to leading a variety of event reengineering activities, the Marketing Project Manager will also act as a change agent to ensure solutions are implemented and projected business results are achieved.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with key stakeholders to create and maintain visibility to marketing initiativesIdentify milestones and schedule deadlines considering market schedules and production timelinesWork closely with channel and department leads to identify necessary skills and resources for successful project completionMaintain the marketing calendar of all campaign activationsEnsure that projects are completed on time and in scope.Responsible for communicating updates and progress to stakeholders.Maintain a view of the resourcing demand and scheduleManage multiple detailed project plans in the designated project management toolCollect campaign requirements and assets and work with internal resources to ensure efficient production cycles.Lead regular internal team meetings to plan and review campaignsIdentify opportunities and develop innovative solutions for improving the quality of work and efficiencies in the process.Typical QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.Certification and 4+ years of demonstrated success with improvement tools and methodologies – Lean/Six Sigma; Green Belt and PMP certification preferred.4+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of campaign and event strategy, planning, and production and experience with the go-to-market lifecycleDemonstrated experience with strategic thinking, briefing expertise, creative concept evaluation, project management, planning, and organization.Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well with others to accomplish goals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detailAn independent problem-solver able to manage and prioritize a high volume of concurrent tasks and communicate changes to teams regularly.
