Product Manager- Software/Controls

With focus and expertise on Software and Controls, this role develops and manages the roadmap for SageGlass smart window controls software and hardware developments. Working cross-functionally across the organization, identifies critical areas for Software and Controls improvements to delight our customers and create efficiencies for internal team members. The role must be adept at using data and research to understand external and internal customer wants and needs to define, regularly update and help execute on the roadmap.Classic product lifecycle management of existing portfolio and new product roadmap ownershipMarket sizing, customer segmentation, needs identification, value propositions, solution ideation and specificationProvide commercial team support for technical product inquiries related to software and controlsInject internal and external evidence-based decision-making into product lifecycle and roadmap planning – drive market research as well as solution testing methodologies during the development processCompetitive authority on behalf of the organization for software services and controlsAccount for competitive intelligence when creating differentiated solutions and value propositionsEnsure highest chance of successful outcomes with NPD by following Agile/Scrum processes, working closely with Controls Engineering team, to deliver new features and products on time and on budget.Provide clear value props, target segments and training tools to Marketing and Sales for launch executionRequired Qualifications

RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or computer science related field.
