WHAT YOU’LL DO:We have an exciting opportunity at Liberated Brands! We are looking for a Director of Sales, this person will report to the Vice President of Sales for Liberated Brands.

Create and revise a distribution plan for current and future business, research and approve all new accounts.Manage all sales initiatives and related issues for hardgoods and softgoods.Oversee all sales reps and related salesforce management including salesforce structure, hire/fire, commission rates in the assigned territory.Exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals for all divisions of business.Track sales rep performance to ensure each rep is meeting or exceeding their assigned sales targets.Manage and oversee the RA, Markdown and other related revenue/contra-revenue approval processes.Lead and drive sales opportunities with key accounts in the assigned channels as directed by VP of Sales.Communicate directly and regularly with the top customer base to grow sales and maintain positive relationships.Develop and implement long term revenue plans for assigned territory.Travel in region at VP of Sales discretion to stay in tune with marketplace, maintain customer relationships as well as implement sales and marketing strategies.Maintain and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly travel, promotional and operational budget.Communicate daily with sales force and provide all necessary tools to meet and exceed revenue targets.Develop sales programs, initiatives and strategies to meet target revenue goals.Help develop and implement regional marketing initiatives to drive consumer demand.Present market trends and opportunities to product teams and assist in developing product line plans with M&D team.Assist in product forecasting and inventory planning.Track and maintain corporate fixtures and custom build outs within the assigned territory and ensure that you stay within budget.Plan and execute on all sales related events in the assigned territory.Work closely with customer service department on providing necessary tools for customer base and sales force.Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Extensive related experience and/or training: Sales, Sales and Marketing, Sales / Marketing Management, Product development market feedback.Ability to take on multiple projects and execute in a timely manner.Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Work well in group problem solving situations.Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance.Ability to work among cross functional teams and motivate team members in all related departments.Ability to build integrated business, revenue and product plans.Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reporting, forecast and projection documents, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as turn, discounts, interest, margins, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Full Circle Database software; Outlook Internet software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word; Word Processing software: Key Note and Power Point.This position requires 1-2 weeks of travel per month and full-time hours out of the Costa Mesa office.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $150,000 - $165,000. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
