Upon referral provides professional Physical Therapy services including evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral member of the patient care team.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $53.20 - $71.79 (Hourly Rate).Department Description
A new way to care for San Francisco. Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and associated outpatient clinics are now part of UCSF Health. Adding these hospitals give us the opportunity to offer primary and secondary care in more places and increases UCSF Health's ability to care for patients with complex medical needs. Combining community care with academic medicine makes convenient, comprehensive care easier to access for all our patients.UCSF Health Saint Francis Memorial Hospital is an accredited, not-for-profit community hospital that has been providing exceptional health care in San Francisco for more than 100 years. As San Francisco's only downtown hospital, Saint Francis is uniquely situated to care for international and domestic visitors, as well as the residents that make up San Francisco's diverse population.Located atop Nob Hill, Saint Francis is home to the largest burn center in Northern California, the Saint Francis Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, and the Center for Pain Management, to name a few. With its close proximity to downtown San Francisco, we treat thousands of workers, international visitors and domestic tourists every year. New graduate without experience acceptable, unless a specific number of years required due to the needs of the department at the time of the appointment.Masters and/or Baccalaureate degree from a school of Physical Therapy, accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Passing score on National Examination for PT. Board certified and licensed in CA.Board certified and licensed in CA. PHYSICAL THERAPIST LIC APPLICANT (LIC PTLA); PHYSICAL THERAPIST (LIC PT); BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS).Preferred Qualifications
