Job Summary

Upon referral provides professional Physical Therapy services including evaluations, planning individualpatient care programs, and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles andpractices of Physical Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral memberof the patient care team.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. Department Description

A new way to care for San Francisco. Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and associated outpatient clinics are now part of UCSF Health. Adding these hospitals give us the opportunity to offer primary and secondary care in more places and increases UCSF Health's ability to care for patients with complex medical needs. Combining community care with academic medicine makes convenient, comprehensive care easier to access for all our patients.UCSF Health Saint Francis Memorial Hospitalis an accredited, not-for-profit community hospital that has been providing exceptional health care in San Francisco for more than 100 years. Required Qualifications

New Graduates are welcome to apply.Bachelors and/or Masters degree from a school of physical therapy accredited by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent.BASIC LIFE SUPPORTAHA (BLS)PHYSICAL THERAPIST (LIC PT)Working knowledge of various sports and activities

Preferred Qualifications

Pilates certification recommended- 2-3 years experience in out- patient orthopedic physical therapy

License/Certification

Possession of a California Physical Therapy License by the California State Board of Examiners.
