Area Sales Director – Midwest
Due to tremendous growth, one of the nation’s leading construction product manufacturers is looking for an Area Sales Director for their Midwest U.S. area.
Description:
Oversee all sales functions in the Midwest area - product sales revenue and gross margin.
Define the required levels of promotional activities required by functional group, overseeing 5 Regional Sales Managers and one Regional Engineer.
Collaborate with directors/VPs of allied business units to ensure goals and objectives are aligned company-wide.
Develop annual goals and strategic initiatives that are measurable and accountable.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to reach sales targets.
Demonstrated proficiency in forecast methodologies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy and understanding data fluctuations.
Requirements:
Five + years of management experience within the construction products industry, preferably managing a technical sales team and experience working with distribution.
Experience in selling value-added engineered solutions.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, required.
