Director, IT Architecture , as the

Senior IT Analyst-Coupa , you will be responsible for both technical and functional expertise of the Source to Pay process. The successful candidate will consult, configure, and develop needed functionality within the Coupa Source to Pay platform and coordinate with a team of internal and external developers to support the growth and sustainability of Ciena's SC functions. The candidate should demonstrate expert capability in building business relationships, gathering and clarifying business requirements, system analysis, translating requirements into low-level design documents, system configuration, custom development, and partnering with other team members to carry forward system changes and enhancements through to production.Responsible for high and low-level design, development, testing, and implementation for application solution sets within the procurement applications (COUPA) and processes (Sourcing, Sourcing Optimization, Risk and Performance Management Advanced, Platform & Integration Configuration).Assist in the design and configuration of COUPA's Source to Pay platform to meet client needs, including workflow setup, customizations/enhancements, and integration with existing systems.Design, configure, and develop application changes, integrations, reports, etc.Provide technical guidance and business functional consultation to internal and external developers on the overall solution approach, including technical validation of the approach during solution fit-gap analysis.Work directly with the business team to identify business needs and requirements, scope work effort, develop and implement solutions, and support business process changes.Effectively build and maintain internal customer and peer relationships to support effective implementations.Ensure that the new functionalities and implementations, including configuration changes, are set up and migrated to production following established release management processes.Apply expertise to develop and implement innovative business solutions.Suggest improvements within internal IT processes and implement these suggestions.Support the implementation and deployment of COUPA's solutions, including user training and ongoing support.What Does Ciena Expect of You?Initiative:

you keep abreast of competitive developments and are always keen to formulate new ideas and problem-solve.The Must Haves:7-10 years of experience in COUPA Source to pay platform with hands-on experience of Risk and performance management modules.Knowledge in integrated COUPA Source to pay modules such as Sourcing, Sourcing Optimization, Risk and performance management advanced, Platform & integration configuration.Experienced in driving at least 2 COUPA implementations end to end.Experienced in configuration of custom workflow, templates, and events.Proven skill set with Supplier life cycle management modules.Functional and technical experience of these processes: Procure to Pay & Supplier Onboarding.Demonstrated competency in SQL query design and performance tuning.Knowledge of contract management around sourcing and purchasing.Experience of working on cross-functional multi-discipline complex and risky projects for a global company with a complex operation.Able to identify functional/technical issues and take ownership to close them or seek escalation.Possesses a
