As a data analyst in the finance control function, your day-to-day job, whether it’s building ad-hoc reports, working on reconciliations or defining ways to automate our reporting processes, will always be toward shaping a scalable Finance function that helps our business leaders make sound financial decisions. You will not be afraid to go deep into the details, define improvement opportunities and build scalable solutions to be used for reporting purposes. A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Maths, Engineering or other quantitative discipline3+ years working with data (i.e., quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, including handling, manipulating, and analyzing data and creating analytical reports) in a top-tier technology company or consulting firmExperience with process automation and business process mappingIntermediate to advanced SQL and in general, using programming as a tool to scale and solve problemsPython/JavaScript knowledge is a strong assetAbility to go into the details to analyze the results and develop scalable solutions to improve day-to-day operationsStrength in finding opportunities and executing on analytical challenges for maximum customer impactAble to handle a high volume of transactions/data and discover trends, patterns and insights that can be shared with the relevant teamsStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsTechnology/Travel industry experience is an assetExperience with NetSuite and ERP systems is an assetEnglish proficiencyMore about HopperAt Hopper, we are on a mission to become the leading travel platform globally – powering Hopper’s mobile app, website and our B2B business, HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions).
