Director of Operational Excellence

plays a significant role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of PharmaCord’s operations by employing a systematic approach to ensure we meet the evolving needs of our business and our customers. Through the analysis of performance data, identification of inefficiencies, and the implementation of strategic solutions, the Operational Excellence Manager involves collaboration with various departments to foster a culture of innovation and improvement, ultimately leading to increased productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.A typical day in the life of the Director of Operational Excellence will include but not be limited to the following:Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and implement operational excellence strategies and roadmaps in alignment with defined goals, ensuring integration with business processes and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction, proposing innovative solutions to address these issues.Manage internal and external audits of PharmaCord’s systems and operations.Oversee the deployment of a system that provides access, controls, and management of PharmaCord operation documents including policies, procedures, and work instructions.Oversee the design of reporting that supports communication of trend analysis that assists in the identification of opportunities for innovation, process improvement and risks.Collaboration with training managers to support effective training of operational excellence principles, tools, and techniques to build an organizational culture of continuous improvement.Oversee the documentation and updating of processes and procedures to ensure they reflect current best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with operations and information technology to research and implement new technologies or methodologies that can further enhance operational efficiency, staying ahead of industry trends and competitive benchmarks.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management focus is preferred.Post-baccalaureate certificates emphasizing specialized skills in quality management or lean processes preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.Experience must include hands-on roles in optimizing operations, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing lean methodologies.A background rich in process improvement, quality management, standardization and strategic planning within patient support services or specialty pharmacy strongly preferred.Healthcare contact center operations experience is preferred.We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.We are located in the River Ridge Commerce Center at 150 Hilton Drive, Jeffersonville, IN. You must be willing to work in this location; PharmaCord does reimburse for tolls if applicable, at the frequent user rate. This rate is applied after 40 trips per month (valued at $678.60 per year).Physical Demands & Work Environment:This is a full-time exempt position.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.This job operates in a professional office environment.
